The LTU reserves the right to disqualify any candidate who does not meet the eligibility requirements.
Each party registered in the e-PBMy system must submit a list of candidates arranged according to priority to represent their party in the parliamentary system of the Malaysian Youth Parliament.
The party prepares a list of candidates according to the number of state seats.
The list is submitted to the PBMy Secretariat for review.
The list of candidates is announced on the PBMy portal for public viewing.

PBMy promotes inclusive youth representation, ensuring diverse voices are present within the Youth Parliament system. We encourage parties to nominate candidates from a wide range of backgrounds.
A 30% women’s quota in politics is advocated to strengthen democracy and ensure inclusive representation.
Ensuring the participation of rural youth in politics to gain exposure to new knowledge and expand their networks.
Ethnic minorities are encouraged to participate fully to ensure their voices are heard.
Encouraging the participation of Persons With Disabilities (PWD) in politics to ensure their voices are represented and to prevent this group from being left behind.
